Chocolate Bunnies Anyone?

Here's a couple for ya that are non-fattening! LOL
Thought you might enjoy seeing some brighter, springy colors since it's mostly all white where we live right now. Just a few things I've made in the past.

Did you notice the overdyed tulip flowers in the pic above?

Happy Hoppers was done w/overdyed floss and overdyed linen. It came as a kit from Lizzie Kate.
Are you sick of seeing this???

and maybe a little or a lot of this???

This view is directly across from our house. We live in a very residential neighborhood, but for some reason there is a big ravine that drops about 100 ft. down into the woods. We do see a lot of deer and other critters even tho' we're right here in the city.

This one was done over one thread! Talk about hard on the ol' eyes!
We no longer have the apple wallpaper in the kitchen. I think this is a Cotton Wood Creations pattern, but I'd have to look it up.
A towel I made for a friend.

Another Buttermilk Basin pattern, one of my favorite stitchery companies.

A wreath I made from 2 different patterns, but I chopped the mittens off of either end w/the camera. oops! LOL
There are hanging rusty snowflakes all along the edge.
The wooden snowmen I didn't make.
This box is the same on either end so you can turn it either way.

This mitten is made out of wool felt and it is huge!

Wow! If you stayed w/me all the way to the end of the 'tour', you get a gold star! LOL
I think that's all of my snowmen pictures I have for now, so think spring and bunnies and chicks everyone! I'm working on a few new goodies that I'll share when I'm finished.
Thanks for stopping by! I'll be back w/more pics of our house renovation soon! I've got tons more to show you, so stay tuned!
P.S. If anyone wants to know what some of the patterns are, just leave me a comment or email me and I'll go look them up.

Whiskers Gone Wild

This is my latest project I finished last wk. A friend of mine and I recently joined a monthly stitchery club and this is for the first month. It is a Buttermilk Basin pattern, but I can't remember it's true name. This one stitched up really really fast, using 100 % wool and pearl cotton for the blanket stitch.

This next piece is a Little House Needleworks pattern called "Cherries". It is stitched on white 28 ct. Monaco and I used Crescent Colors overdyed floss. It looks much more vibrant in person, I can't seem to get a good angle on the cross stitch pieces for some reason.

This is the one I'm working on right now ~ it isn't finished yet, but here's a sneak peek. I changed the colors and I'm using bigger count fabric. Can you guess what pattern it is from??

The next few pics are of some spring items I made from a few yrs. ago. I still have way more, but will wait on the rest until it gets closer to Easter.
This one is a Lizzie Kate pattern, using overdyed floss, then I made it into a pillow.

This one is a Pine Mountain Pillow kit. It comes w/everything except the inside pillow form.

This is another Lizzie Kate pattern using overdyed floss, can you tell I LOVE overdyed floss??? LOL
Then I made it into a pillow, trying something a bit different w/the corners.
This is a table runner using 4 stitchery patterns from Buttermilk Basin, then I tried to jazz it up a little w/the fabric all around it. A little bright for most prim tastebuds, but I still really like it.
Here's Mr. Fix It shoveling snow to get to our GRILL!!! It was snowing to beat dixie that day!
Who says you have to wait till warmer weather to grill out??? He wanted to grill steaks for our anniversary last wk. He's so funny! He wore his tennis shoes instead of boots! Gotta love a man for going out in freezing cold weather to fix dinner for you. :))

Hope you enjoyed your stay. Have a wonderful week everyone! I'll be back soon w/some more pics. Feel free to leave a comment or just say hi. I've enjoyed 'meeting' everyone.
Thanks for stopping!

Happy Belated Valentine's Day

Hi everyone! Hope you're not sick of seeing Valentine pics yet!

Mr. Fix It always likes to give me flowers a few days early before the actual event. In this case, it was 23 carnations for each yr. we've been married right on Valentine's Day. We had a nice relaxing day w/our sons and chose not to go anywhere special just yet, because of all the crazy weather we've been having this winter.
I remember while on our way to our honeymoon destination, we drove through an ice storm!
Here's a couple of pics of the big bouquet.

Most yrs. I haven't really decorated a whole lot for V~Day, but this yr. wanted to try some new decor. Found this plate a couple of wks. ago at Michael's.

And here is a few more pics of the decor in the laundry room from the other day.

Hope you enjoyed the 'tour' and thank you for all the sweet comments that several of you left on previous posts and to those who chose to follow me! I truly have enjoyed blogging so far and hope I don't bore anyone!
Have a great week everyone and I'll be back w/more pics soon!
Thanks for visiting!
