Hi Peeps!

Just wanted to show ya a little peek at what I've been working on lately.........it was really fun to work on, but I didn't have a big enough background piece that fit, so I had to order a larger piece of wool to finish it.  I will show the whole piece complete when I get it totally put together... (sorry the lighting wasn't as good in the second pic).  Can you say SPRING???!!
We also celebrated our future daughter-in-law's b'day over the wkend w/a bakery cake.  Her favorite color is purple, can you tell??   I thought the flowers were so pretty!  (needless to say, it disappeared FAST)!!

Well, we have certainly gotten enough rain the past two days to build an ark.  I certainly hope spring is around the corner!!  It was warm and sunny a few days ago, then SNOW showers the next day.  March has always been crazy weather for us here in Eastern Ky.

Here's BJ in the craft room, keeping mommy company.  He likes to curl up on a tie-dyed bean bag and sleep in front of the fireplace, but he got up and moved just when I was going to snap his pic in it!  Doggone it!! :))
Happy stitching!!

Oh, those chicks are so adorable, Tanya!! I love the one coming out of the egg with the violet in his little wing--so cute! They sure remind me of spring--and looking outside, that is about the only thing that does. I so long for some warm, sunny days :)

Lovely cake, too--I'll bet it tasted as good as it looks!

Your little yellow chicks are so cute with the wool applique - I haven't done one of those to add to the collection I just shared on my blog. Stop by and take a look!
